Action Philosophers Music Video

Action Philosophers has been many things, but now it is also a music video, courtesy of two of the awesome cast members of the theatrical version currently running in the Comic Book Theater Festival! The song was written and performed by Neimah (Bodhidharma) Djourabchi and Joe (Karl Marx) Mathers and the video assembled by Jody Christopherson. Thanks guys!

Spaghetti Western (a hit at both last year's Too Soon Festival and the Vampire Cowboys Saloon Series) Action Philosophers! is a must see, not to mention cheaper than a liberal arts degree — and a whole lot more fun, too!

Featuring Ryan Andes, Neimah Djourabchi, Benjamin Ellis Fine, Joseph Mathers, Kelley Rae O’Donnell and C.L. Weatherstone.

With lights by Olivia Harris; Costumes by Meryl Pressman & Holly Rihn; Props by Gretchen Van Lente; Set Created by Ben Kato; Stage Manager: Veronica Graveline

"Indie Theatre needs more trail blazers like Skillman and Hurley they are certainly ones to watch as they ride off into the sunset." Michael Roderick, Broadway World (Hack!)

"The achievement of the writer Fred Van Lente and the artist Ryan Dunlavey [in Action Philosophers] is visualizing [great philosophers] in intensely goofy but intellectually rigorous ways."
The New York Times

"[Action Philosophers] is totally irreverent and manically inventive" Publishers Weekly

All performances will be at The Brick (575 Metropolitan Avenue, Williamsburg, Brooklyn) as part of The Comic Book Theater Festival. Tickets ($15) are available online at www.bricktheater.com or by calling 212-352-3101.
